Food has always been my passion, and over the years that passion has developed into a love of cake design.
At Denise’s Little Cake Company, I create bespoke wedding and celebration cakes that are anything but ordinary. From hand-painted designs to sculpted creations, I love turning ideas into something unexpected, personal and completely edible.
Whether it’s wonderfully weird, quirky or simply something a little different, my aim is to create a cake that not only looks incredible but tastes just as good.

I’m a Devon-based cake designer specialising in bold, modern and often playful bespoke cakes — from show-stopping wedding centrepieces to sculpted celebration cakes that make people say, “Wow… is that really a cake?”
With a background in professional catering and patisserie, and over nine years running Denise’s Little Cake Company, I create cakes that are designed to be just as memorable to eat as they are to look at.
Every cake is made to order and tailored to you. Whether your style is elegant and minimal, colourful and quirky, or something completely out of the ordinary, I work closely with you to design a cake that reflects your personality, your event and your vision.
From the first ideas to the final setup, you’ll be part of the design process — with expert guidance, sketches and flavour suggestions to help bring everything together.
