I’m a highly creative cake designer with a love for turning ideas into edible works of art. Every cake I make is bespoke, whether it’s a show-stopping wedding cake or a sculpted celebration cake, and I take pride in making each one feel personal, thoughtful and completely unique.
When it comes to wedding cakes, it’s about much more than just tiers and icing. I love getting to know couples, hearing their story and understanding their style, so I can design a cake that truly reflects them. The goal is always to create something that feels so you — and leaves your guests talking long after the cake has been cut.
Just as importantly, my cakes are designed to taste as good as they look. I use quality ingredients and offer a wide range of carefully developed flavour combinations to make sure every slice is just as memorable as the design.
I’m originally from Honiton and now based in Newton Abbot, Devon. I spent over 10 years working in the catering industry, including time in top London establishments, before training as a chef and studying patisserie at South Devon College. After working as a chef around Torbay, I turned my lifelong love of cake into a business, and Denise’s Little Cake Company was born in 2017.
Today, I specialise in bespoke wedding and celebration cakes across Devon and the South West, creating designs that are a little bit different — and always made with care, creativity and attention to detail.
