Celebration Cakes – Sponge with buttercream/ganache filling, coated in ganache (unless buttercream coating is requested)
Each cake is individually designed and therefore the price will depend on your requirements. I do have a minimum order value for celebration cakes of £75 ( this excludes drip cakes and cupcakes).
3D Sculpted Cakes.
My 3D/carved cakes take time and skill to create artistic creations with the added WOW FACTOR . Each design will be person and unique, for this reason it is hard to give an exact price, until the design has been discussed. Although as a guide they start from £85. Dogs/animals and any large structures start from £150.
Deposit & Payment
A deposit of 50% will be taken on confirmation of all orders for bespoke celebration cakes, with the remainder paid 2 weeks prior to collection/delivery. For orders taken within two weeks of required date, payment will be required in full on confirmation of the order. If payments are not received your cake will not be made.
For Wedding cakes a ‘save the date’ deposit of £50 will secure your date for cakes up to £300, and £100 for cakes over £300. Further payments will be detailed on your invoice. If your wedding is within 6 months a 50% deposit will be required, with the balance payable at least one month before completion.
We accept payments by cash, cheque, online bank transfer (BACS) or Paypal.
Delivery / Collection
Bespoke Celebration Cakes
Collection of your bespoke celebration cake will be from 2 Fisher Rd, Newton Abbot TQ12 2NB
Your cake will be boxed and ready for transportation, all stacked cakes will have support dowels in to ensure they can be transported to their destination safely.
Please note that once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and Denise’s Little Cake Company is not liable for any damages thereafter.
We can offer a delivery service for your celebration cake, but this must be arranged in advance and is dependent on our working hours and days available. Delivery of your cake will be made by us. We never employ couriers to deliver our cakes.
This delivery service is currently charged at £1 per mile (one way), and is excluded from any discounts.
